Deutsche Huforthopädische Gesellschaft

The objective of the Deutsche Huforthopädische Gesellschaft is to raise the level of general knowledge about horses’ hooves and about causes for diseases in horses’ hooves and extremities. The Deutsche Huforthopädische Gesellschaft wishes to improve the situation of horses’ hooves by improving the quality of hoof treatment.

DHG e.V. holds an annual conference to present and discuss topics round about foot and limb health of the horse. It is a renowned educational event for practical vets, veterinary students, farriers and barefoot trimmers.
